This growth signals strong potential for further expansion, reinforcing the project’s value and solidifying its role as a cornerstone in the company’s exploration plans. Abitibi has $13.0 million in funding to continue exploration, with further drilling planned for 2025.

Highlights:

  • 8.7 metres of 23.9% zinc + lead (including 18.8% zinc and 5.1% lead) and 85 grams per tonne silver.

  • 7.0 metres of 8.1% zinc + lead (6.2% zinc and 1.9% lead) and 93 grams per tonne silver, with a high-grade section of 1.2 metres at 26.4% zinc + lead and 396 grams per tonne silver.

  • 5.7 metres of 6.6% zinc + lead (5.3% zinc and 1.3% lead) and 21 grams per tonne silver.

According to the company, the new intercepts push the zinc-rich massive sulphide zone 50 to 100 metres further, now spanning at least 360 metres along strike with open extensions. Drilling suggests a strengthening trend to the northeast, with two rigs currently advancing exploration.
