An Aussie Uranium Junior we probably don’t talk about enough is Okapi Resources (ASX:OKR).

It’s dipping it’s toe in the radioactive water of the uranium enrichment sector by purchasing a large piece of also Australian company Ubaryon - which has allegedly developed a uranium enrichment technology to potentially rival Russia’s domination of the industry.

Okapi will invest $3.1 million in Ubaryon to acquire 19.9%, which could be increased to 21.9% following a planned Ubaryon share buyback.

The company expects the transaction will be completed by the end of March, subject to completing its due diligence.

OKR shares shot up almost 30% on the news.

The market doesn’t like it, it loves it.

Okapi holds exploration projects in the US and Athabasca Basin. The US portfolio holds mineral resources of 49.8m+ lbs of U3O8 (average grade of 540ppm).

💪🏼 Ngex Gets A Boost

NGEx Minerals (TSXV: NGEX), the majority partner and operator for the Los Helados Project, in a JV with Nippon Caserones Resources just published assay results from the Los Helados copper-gold project located in Region III, Chile. All three (Condor, Fenix and Alicanto) zones remain open to expansion. Translation, there’s probably more to come, so keep watch this space.

Highlights:

122.1m at 1.05% CuEq

1,168.8m at 0.43% CuEq

1,215.2m at 0.43% CuEq

981.3m at 0.48% CuEq

It’s interesting to note that they also report molybdenum in the Alicanto Zone. I think we're going to be hearing more about this.

The primary objective of the drill program is to define the size and shape of the Alicanto and Fenix Zones, and there are 4 drills currently working on site.

Strathmore Plus Uranium Corporation (TSXV: SUU) (OTC Pink: SUUFF), a Marketing client of ours, has partnered with the University of Wyoming's Near-Surface Geophysical Center (UWNSG) to conduct research at their Agate and Night Owl projects in the Shirley Basin uranium district of Wyoming.

The University's School of Energy Resources announced on January 23rd that they have chosen three proposed research projects to receive funding for nuclear-related research at UW, including research at the Shirley Basin properties.

The research will use modern geophysical methodologies and analyses, such as 2D and 3D imaging, to study the different depositional settings at the Agate and Night Owl projects.

Specifically, it will focus on roll-fronts vs unconformity-related deposits.
