Talon Metals Corp. (TSX: TLO), in partnership with a research team from Columbia University that is funded by several American agencies, including the DOE, has made a nice hit in their Tamarack Nickel Project.

Highlight:

• 101.71 m of 1.94% Ni, 1.84% Cu and 0.35 g/t Pd, 0.64 g/t Pt and 0.62 g/t Au (1.61 g/t PGEt + Au) (3.04% NiEq)

Talon has an earn-in right to acquire up to 60% of the Tamarack Nickel Project, and currently owns 51%, in a JV with Rio Tinto. Talon is focused on expanding and infilling its current nickel resource.

The fact that the feds funded this makes it even more delicious.

👏 Lithium Found in NWT

Li-FT Power Ltd. (CSE: LIFT) (OTCQX: LIFFF) (FSE: WS0) is reporting assays from 18 drill holes completed at the Fi Southwest and Fi Main pegmatites within the Yellowknife Lithium Project, in Northwest Territories.

Highlights:

• 80 m at 0.87% Li₂O

• 60 m at 1.26% Li₂O

• 26 m at 1.22% Li₂O

These results extend the strike length of spodumene mineralization to 335 metres.
