Indonesia's PT Trimegah Bangun Persada, also known as Harita Nickel, raised $672m in the country's largest IPO this year.

The firm sold 8 billion shares at IDR1,250 each, at the top of the marketed range that started at IDR1,220.

Harita Nickel is the first company in Southeast Asia's largest economy to process low-grade nickel ore into battery-grade metal, using high-pressure acid leaching.

The successful listing may stimulate more investments in Indonesia's EV supply chain as the nation seeks to capitalise on its vast nickel reserves. In fact, the increase in the country’s nickel output has already put pressure on prices world-wide.

Harita Nickel is expected to be followed by nickel mining firm PT Merdeka Battery Materials, which is due to debut on April 18 after its own IPO raised IDR8.75tn ($590m).

🤦🏻 Ex-JP Morgan Cheater Begs For Mercy

Former head of JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s precious-metals desk, Michael Nowak, and his top gold trader, Gregg Smith, have requested they not receive prison sentences for their involvement in spoofing in precious metals markets.

Both men were convicted in August of market manipulation and prosecutors last month recommended sentences of five and six years for Nowak and Smith, respectively.

However, in a court filing on Monday, the two men argued that the government failed to prove the economic harm from their conduct and that any profit made by the bank was immaterial to their options portfolios.

A big hole in the portfolio for you, a small slap on the wrist for me.

💎 Eloro Hits 320m of 114 g/t Silver

Eloro Resources Ltd. (TSX: ELO) (OTCQX: ELRRF) (FSE: P2QM) has just come out with the last eight diamond drill holes from the definition drill program at Santa Barbara in the Iska Iska (cool name btw) silver-tin polymetallic project in the Potosi Department, southern Bolivia.

Highlights:

105.42m of 86.67g Ag eq/t (13.57g Ag/t, 0.99% Zn and 0.41% Pb)

143.06m of 103.03g Ag eq/t (5.18g Ag/t, 1.72% Zn and 0.21% Pb)

119.77m 123.28g Ag eq/t (7.46g Ag/t, 0.14 g Au/t, 1.85% Zn and 0.26% Pb)

Two drill holes filled in gaps in previous drilling of the High-Grade Zone.

The remaining six holes tested the potential south-southeastern extension of the High-Grade Zone at Santa Barbara.
