😉 PNG Play Gets $40m

UK's Vision Blue Resources (VBR) is investing $40 million for a 49% stake in Mayur Resources (ASX: MRL) Central lime project in Papua New Guinea (PNG).

This investment by VBR, led by former Xstrata head Mick Davis, will cover the project's full equity needs, including development and carbon reduction. Post-deal, both firms will pursue debt financing, involving the Australian government, due to the project's importance to PNG's economy.

Mayur is also in talks for long-term “traceable low carbon lime” off-take. Expected earnings exceed $25 million annually over the project's initial 30 years. Situated near PNG’s capital and Exxon's major LNG plant, the Central project will supply quicklime for various industries. VBR, which aims at clean energy mineral opportunities, has invested in several other ventures.

🔥 Hot Athabasca Uranium Hit

F3 Uranium Corp (TSXV: FUU) (OTCQB: FUUFF), a past client of this illustrious newsletter and still a shareholding of ours, has come out with yet another very high-grade uranium hit on its Patterson Lake North Property in the Athabasca Basin, Canada.

Highlights:

  • PLN23-068 18.0m of 8.8% U3O8, including a high grade 11.5m interval averaging 13.7% U3O8, further including an ultra-high grade core of 4.5m of 30.1% U3O8

  • PLN23-079 shows 17m of mineralization, with 3.0m off-scale radioactivity (>65,535 cps) – assays pending.

Due to improved sonic casing efficiencies, only one sonic drill is now needed instead of the initially budgeted two. The cost savings from this change have allowed for more drilling within the set summer budget. F3 now plans to drill up to 40 holes, totaling 16,000m.

How big is this?
