😲 Luminex Hits Breccia Pipe

Luminex Resources Corp. (TSXV: LR) (OTCQX: LUMIF) announced drill results from four holes (CU23-23 to CU23-26) that targeted the Cuyes West structure, with hole CU23-25 also intersecting a new breccia pipe discovery underneath the existing Cuyes open pit mineral resource.

Highlights:

203.0 metres grading 1.48 g/t Au Eq, including 33.0 metres grading 5.41 g/t Au Eq

33.0 metres within the newly discovered breccia pipe, adjacent to the Cuyes West structure

1.0 metre grading 118.44 g/t Au Eq; the highest-grade assay ever at Cuyes

That does not look bad at all.

👨🏻‍💼 Hudbay Bids For Copper Mountain 

Major shareholders of Copper Mountain (TSX: CMMC) and Hudbay Minerals (TSX, NYSE: HBM) have expressed their support for Hudbay's proposed acquisition of Copper Mountain's mine in British Columbia for nearly C$600 million.

Copper Mountain operates a single mine near Princeton, making it a prime acquisition target for larger companies seeking copper resources.

Zeta Resources and Mitsubishi Materials Corp., which own 9.96% and 25% of Copper Mountain respectively, have signaled their approval of the acquisition. GMT Capital, owning 11.7% of Hudbay Minerals, has also expressed its support.

Hudbay, a Canadian miner with operations in Manitoba, Peru, Arizona, and Nevada, aims to become Canada's third-largest copper producer with this acquisition.

The offer stands at C$2.67 per share, equating to C$593 million ($439m) for Copper Mountain.

Each Copper Mountain shareholder will receive 0.381 of a Hudbay common share per Copper Mountain share. The offer will be put to a shareholder vote on June 13.

Independence Gold Corp. (TSXV: IGO) (OTCQB: IEGCF) just published additional assay results from its recently completed 4,000m winter drill program at its 100% owned 3Ts Project, located approximately 185km southwest of Prince George, BC and 16km southwest of Artemis Gold Inc.'s Blackwater Project.

Highlight:

11.50 Metres Grading 7.72 g/t Gold and 172.85 g/t Silver
