🪨 China Yields To Australian Coal?

Sources familiar with the decision, who requested anonymity, have informed that ports and customs offices have been instructed to allow these shipments. Earlier this year, four major importers had been granted permission to resume purchasing Australian coal, with shipments starting in January.

Following the gossip news, Australian coal mining stocks such as Yancoal Australia Ltd. (ASX: YAL) and New Hope Corp. (ASX: NHC) experienced a reduction in losses. Meanwhile, Chinese coking coal futures continued to decline.

China's National Development and Reform Commission, the country's economic planning agency, has not yet commented on the matter.

🙀 Ivanhoe 10 Bags Profit

The Kamoa-Kakula copper complex in the Democratic Republic of Congo produced 333,497 tonnes of copper concentrates in 2022.

The company is advancing the Phase 3 expansion of Kamoa-Kakula, which is expected to be completed in late 2024 and improve cash costs by 10% to 20%. Ivanhoe is also conducting a copper exploration program on its Western Foreland licenses and has initiated an optimization study at its Platreef mine in South Africa.

Maybe investors were pricing it in already since the stock barely moved today, inching up some 3% towards C$11.59.

The Editor is not bitter for selling it at C$3.60 years ago.

🌨️ B2Gold Buys Into Snowline

Snowline plans to issue up to 3,941,048 flow-through shares at a price of C$4.862 per FT Share, raising a total of up to C$19,161,375.

On completion of the PP, B2Gold will approximately 5.0% of Snowline's issued and outstanding common shares, since they’ve made purchases of 3,000,000 shares recently on the open market, and will also be granted the right to maintain its pro rata ownership of up to 5.0% in future equity raises.

💨 Trillion Hitting More Gas (Than Grandma After Eating Beans)

On March 10, West Akcakoca 1 achieved a total measured depth (TMD) of 3,839 meters and a true vertical depth (TVD) of 1,677 meters. During drilling, a significant amount of gas pay was found. Analysis of logging while drilling (LWD) data indicates 55 meters of potential natural gas pay within six sands in the Akcakoca member (SASB production zone).

The LWD data aligns with initial mud show results. The 7" production casing will be installed and cemented this week.

The initial perforation intervals are currently being chosen to bring the well into production. Completion and flow testing will take place after the well is perforated, with revenue generation expected before the end of the month.

So far Trillion is 4/4 for this campaign.

Not bad.
