🤝 Silvercorp and Orecorp Merge

Silvercorp Metals Inc. (TSX: SVM) (NYSE American: SVM) and OreCorp Limited (ASX: ORR) have signed an agreement for Silvercorp to acquire the shares of OreCorp that it does not already own.

Highlights:

• Shareholders of OreCorp will receive A$0.15 in cash and 0.0967 of a Silvercorp share for each OreCorp share, equating to A$0.60 per share.

• Once this transaction is complete, existing OreCorp shareholders will possess 17.8% of Silvercorp's shares.

• The combined entity would be a diversified precious metals company valued at US$630 million.

Silvercorp plans to enlist on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) as a result of this deal closing, subject to shareholder and legal approval.

Carnaby Resources Limited (ASX: CNB) has just announced new assay results, pXRF readings and IP anomalies at the Greater Duchess Copper Gold Project in Mt Isa, Queensland.

• Strongest IP chargeability anomaly yet at Greater Duchess; o Maximum 75 m/sec chargeability anomaly modelled at approximately 100m below surface (undrilled).

Mount Hope Central Prospect:

• 72m (true-width 24m) @ 4.0% Cu, 0.4g/t Au

• 46m (true-width 20m) @ 3.2% Cu, 0.5g/t Au
