🙀 Patriot Hits 83.7m at 3.13% Lithium

Patriot Battery Metals (TSX-V: PMET) (ASX: PMT) (OTCQX: PMETF) (FSE: R9GA), the wonder kid of Canadian lithium, is hitting… well… more lithium. 

They’re reporting on sixteen holes completed as part of its 2023 winter drill program at its wholly owned Corvette Property in the James Bay Region of Quebec, Canada. 

The winter phase of the drill campaign is focused on the CV5 Pegmatite and has revealed several high-grade intercepts, including an extension of the high-grade Nova Zone eastwardly by 400 m.

Highlights:

• 83.7 m at 3.13% Li2O (222.7 m to 306.4 m), including 19.8 m at 5.28% Li2O and 5.1 m at 5.17% Li2O (CV23-105).

• 132.2 m at 1.22% Li2O (274.1 m to 406.3 m), including 11.2 m at 2.99% Li2O and 6.0 m at 2.92% Li2O (CV23-106).

Twenty-seven additional drill holes have arrived at the lab, and six drilling rigs are currently active at the CV5 Pegmatite.

🫶🏼  Motherlode Hit In Chile

ATEX Resources Inc. (TSXV: ATX), a favourite of mining Legend Pierre Lassonde, is announcing results for diamond drill holes ATXD-11B and ATXD-22. These are the third and fourth holes completed in its Phase III drill campaign at the Valeriano Copper-Gold Project located in Atacama Region, Chile.

Highlights include:

• ATXD-11B which intersected higher grade intervals of:

  • 0.80% Copper Equivalent "CuEq" (0.50% Cu, 0.35 g/t Au, 29 ppm Mo) over 1,010 metres; and

  • 0.94% CuEq (0.46% Cu, 0.58 g/t Au, 13 ppm Mo) over 222 metres, within the wider interval of 0.73% CuEq (0.46% Cu 0.31 g/t Au, 43 ppm Mo) over 1,342.5 metres.

• ATXD-22 intersected 970 metres of 0.51% Copper Equivalent "CuEq" (0.38 % Cu, 0.10 g/t Au and 99 ppm Mo).

🇨🇴 More Gold Found In Colombia

Collective Mining Ltd.(TSXV: CNL) (OTCQX: CNLMF)  has announced assay results from additional drill holes completed as part of the Phase II Apollo program within the Guayabales project in Colombia. 

The program aims to define and expand the Apollo porphyry deposit, a high-grade copper-silver-gold system with an excellent metal endowment. 

Highlight:

276.30 metres @ 2.95 g/t gold equivalent (2.12 g/t gold, 36 g/t silver and 0.22% copper) including:

33.0 metres @ 4.87 g/t gold equivalent from surface in oxides, 

and 17.75 metres @ 3.94 g/t gold equivalent from 75.80 metres downhole.

There’s (lots) of gold in them hills!

 🚫 Sweden Rejects Uranium

Another day, another delay in uranium future supply. In Sweden, the government has decided not to prioritize lifting the uranium ban with a vote of 237 against 64. 

Only 1 out of 8 parties were in favor, indicating a long way to go in terms of the political climate on mining in Sweden. 

While a motion for shortening mining permit procedures received a majority, the government has rejected all 40 motions and change remains slow, though political pressure from the EU may eventually impact this decision.

Bad call, Sweden. Bad call.
