As reported here yesterday, there were talks of Namibia take a chunk of not just mining but also oil companies, something akin to nationalization. Some stocks quickly crashed and companies have published releases trying to calm investors, announcing there was nothing official.
If only Western governments were so quick to correct course or dispel gossip.
