😎 Google Embraces Nuclear

Google has signed a groundbreaking deal with Kairos Power to purchase electricity from small modular nuclear reactors (SMRs) to meet the rising energy demands of artificial intelligence.

Google aims to buy 500 megawatts of power from six to seven reactors, with the first reactor expected online by 2030. This agreement is part of a broader trend, as other tech giants like Amazon and Microsoft also turn to nuclear power to support growing AI infrastructure.

The deal is contingent on Kairos receiving full regulatory approvals.
