Awalé Resources Limited (TSXV: ARIC) has announced results from drilling at the BBM Zone within the Odienné Project in Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa.

Highlights:

  • 27 metres of 2.7 grams per tonne gold equivalent, including 12 metres of 3.9 grams per tonne gold equivalent from 435 metres downhole.

  • 10 metres of 2.8 grams per tonne gold equivalent within 22 metres of 2 grams per tonne gold equivalent from 454 metres downhole.

The team has launched a 4,000-metre diamond drilling program, fully backed by Newmont, as part of its broader exploration push through 2024 and into 2025.

😉 More Gold in Africa

Kobo Resources Inc. (TSX.V: KRI) has reported additional gold intercepts from its 100%-owned Kossou Gold Project in Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa.

Highlights:

  • 7.0 metres of 3.66 grams per tonne gold from 160 metres depth.

  • 4.0 metres of 3.26 grams per tonne gold from 255 metres depth.

  • 9.0 metres of 1.39 grams per tonne gold from 106 metres depth. 

Kobo’s 10,000-metre drill program is showing strong results. With a second rig on site and improved access, they’re set to finish by mid-January 2025.
