Sun Summit Minerals (TSX-V: SMN, OTCQX: SMREF) announced drill results from its fifth hole at the Creek Zone, JD Project in the Toodoggone District, B.C, Canada.

Highlights:

  • 57.95 metres of 2.69 grams per tonne gold, including 19.50 metres of 7.31 grams per tonne gold, with high-grade veins like 362 grams per tonne gold over 0.25 metres.

  • 64.16 metres of 0.69 grams per tonne gold from 46.84 metres including 10.16 metres of 1.93 grams per tonne gold.

The 362 grams per tonne interval also contains 121 grams per tonne silver, 2.23% copper, and 18.15% zinc, indicating potential for high-grade polymetallic mineralisation.

The gold mineralisation remains open in most directions, with additional assay results and survey data pending.

Cartier Resources Inc. (TSXV: ECR, FSE: 6CA) reported high-grade gold drill results from its exploration on the East Cadillac property, located 45 km east of Val-d'Or, Quebec, Canada.

Highlights:

  • 14.7 grams per tonne gold over 4.3 metres, within a broader interval of 5.2 grams per tonne gold over 20.6 metres.

  • 6.3 grams per tonne gold over 4.0 metres, within 3.0 grams per tonne gold over 15.0 metres.

  • 5.7 grams per tonne gold over 4.0 metres, including 15.0 grams per tonne gold over 1.0 metre.

This new gold-bearing system at the North Contact Sector remains open in most directions, with ongoing exploration using two drill rigs along the Larder Lake-Cadillac Fault Zone.

The market likes it as the price is a nice 6.3% and the volume is going up as we type.
