👊 Gold Breaks Records
Gold surged to a record high, reaching $3,059.48 per ounce, driven by safe-haven demand amid rising global trade tensions following US President Trump’s announcement of new auto tariffs.
The escalation sparked sell-offs in global stock markets, particularly among major carmakers, while investors turned to gold, supported further by the Federal Reserve’s dovish stance and expectations of upcoming rate cuts.
Goldman Sachs lifted its gold price target to $3,300 for 2025, citing strong central bank buying — over 1,000 tonnes annually since 2022 — and rising ETF inflows as investors seek hedges during heightened uncertainty, with a potential for prices to hit $3,680 if demand accelerates.
🧐 Pampa Drilling
Pampa Metals Corp. (CSE:PM / FSE:FIR / OTCQB:PMMCF) reported results from step-out drilling at the Piuquenes Central Cu-Au Deposit in San Juan, Argentina.
Highlights:
152 metres of 0.40% Cu, 0.23 g/t Au, and 2.15 g/t Ag.
50 metres of 0.50% Cu, 0.29 g/t Au, and 2.36 g/t Ag.
Some results are still pending. We’ll keep an eye on this.
