Meridian Mining (TSX: MNO; OTCQX: MRRDF) reports drill results with high-grade intercepts at Cabaçal, Brazil.

Highlights:

• 20.9 metres of 6.5g/t AuEq (4.4% CuEq) from 95.3 metres, including 7.1 metres of 9.2g/t AuEq (6.2% CuEq) from 104.0 metres.

• 26.6 metres of 2.6g/t AuEq (1.8% CuEq) from 176.3 metres, including 15.7 metres of 4.1g/t AuEq (2.7% CuEq) from 187.2 metres.

• 7.3 metres of 5.9g/t AuEq (4.0% CuEq) from 78.7 metres.

Meridian is nearing the completion of Cabaçal’s PFS, and future results will contribute to upcoming studies. With a recent CAD 17.2M capital raise, the company aims to advance Cabaçal, Santa Helena, and its belt-scale exploration programmes by 2025.

🤩 Gold at Kaaresselkä

Aurion Resources Ltd. (TSXV: AU; OTCQX: AIRRF) reports drilling results at the Kaaresselkä area of its wholly owned Risti property in the Central Lapland Greenstone Belt, northern Finland.

Highlights:

• 13.60 metres of 7.92 g/t Au, including 1 metre of 57.60 g/t Au.

• 12.05 metres of 0.63 g/t gold (from 105.05 metres), including 2.65 metres of 1.34 g/t gold (from 114.45 metres).

The company says this highlights the promising drill results and its optimism about further exploration potential at Kaaresselkä and beyond.

As we type, the price is a healthy 7.3 % up.
