🍪 Putin’s Hand Caught In Nuclear Cookie Jar

The Washington Post reports that Russian born and bred nuclear conglomerate Rosatom has aided Russian war efforts, thus triggering a situation that’s ripe for further sanctions (as #Utwit has been hoping for months).

The allegations go as far as claiming that Rosatom employees aided the ridiculous seizure of Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, according to Ukrainian officials and a Russian presidential decree.

Naughty. Very naughty.

Ukraine has reduced its reliance on Russian fuel for its nuclear industry and suggest other countries do the same. The country has allegedly been using alternative supplies from Westinghouse, an American company, that has developed the ability to replicate Russian-made fuel to service Soviet-era plants in recent years.

Common-sensical.

Is this the final trigger that makes the west push towards an official uranium/nuclear sanction against the Russians?

🏔 Victoria Gold: 3.59 g/t Au over 83.5 Meters from 2022 Raven Exploration Program

Let’s just be real: the Yukon and gold exploration, among other minerals, go together like white on rice. Victoria Gold (TSX-VGCX) is proving that with some further holes from 2022, with the headliner being:

For context, the current Raven Resource Estimate includes 1.1 Million ounces at 1.7 g/t Au

With the caveat that the real juicy grade within that is a small 5.3m at an eye-watering 45.84 g/t Au, there were some other holes reported that look interesting.

This was from an exploration campaign that ended in late October, which goes to show we’re all in the wrong business and should collectively open assay labs because demand is obviously high, and let’s face it, we’re the ones indirectly financing their operations anyway.
