🚨 Russia’s Uranium Debacle

Things have been definitely heating up in the uranium market in the last 24 hours. First, YCA has called up their option to purchase 1.5m lbs of uranium from Kazatomprom, as per their longstanding agreement. The moment they give notice, they have 10 days to raise the funds to confirm the order. This has been oversubscribed and because of perfect timing, they have purchased the pounds at a $7 discount to current spot prices.

Second, there was the alleged news that Rosatom, one of the world’s leading nuclear fuel providers, had put out an RFP (request for proposal) for uranium. Unusual for a time of market volatility, as most thought they were well covered.

Then, we all woke up today to the news that the Russian-based producer was not exporting any uranium from St. Petersburg due to a lack of insurance coverage (that happens when you get into a war). This has since been denied by the company. Whether it’s true or not, the leak is out and time will tell.

Lo and behold, within the hour, a video is passed around with Kazakhstan’s President Tokayev saying that the world’s leading uranium producer will indeed follow the West in sanctioning Russia.

A market that was already in a strong uptrend may finally get that “rip your face off” rally. We’re loving it. The Uranium Squeeze is here.

👏 Tudor Hits Again

Tudor Gold Corp. (TSXV: TUD) (FSE: H56) has released its third set of drill results for the 2023 exploration program at Treaty Creek in British Columbia.

Highlights:

• 55.5m of 3.35 g/t AuEQ within a broader interval of 255.0 meters of 1.18 g/t AuEQ

• 213m of 1.45 g/t AuEQ

The company plans to expand exploration to the northwest, north, and northeast to increase the Mineral Resource's volume.

And the magical words are: the deposit is open in all directions.
