West Point Gold Corp. (TSXV: WPG; OTCQB: WPGCF; FSE: LRA0) announced near-surface gold intercepts from the Tyro Main Zone at its Gold Chain Project in Arizona, USA.

Highlights:

• 22.86 metres of 3.34 g/t gold, including 3.04 metres of 16.01 g/t gold.

• 28.95 metres of 1.92 g/t gold, including 4.57 metres of 3.65 g/t gold.

• 1.52 metres of 5.22 g/t gold.

The Tyro Main Zone remains open in multiple directions with assays pending for 8 holes, as part of a 5,000-metre program targeting a maiden resource and new zones like the Frisco Graben.

As we type, the price is up a nice 10.0% while the volume is still catching up.

Independence Gold Corp. (TSX-V: IGO; OTC: IEGCF) reported high-grade intercepts from its winter drill program at the 100%-owned 3Ts Project, in the Nechako Plateau, central British Columbia, Canada.

Highlights:

• 7.45 metres of 5.95 g/t gold and 23.09 g/t silver, including 1.86 metres of 20.48 g/t gold and 80.11 g/t silver.

• 2.85 metres of 4.60 g/t gold and 94.74 g/t silver, including 0.50 metres of 14.82 g/t gold and 280.00 g/t silver.

• 3.54 metres of 2.67 g/t gold and 25.66 g/t silver, plus deeper intervals with 0.12% lead and 0.20% zinc over 5.25 metres.

The Company has confirmed high-grade gold at Larry, discovered new mineralised veins at Daisy, and intercepted deeper base metal mineralisation at Ted-Mint, consistent with low-sulphidation epithermal zonation.
